So here is a story with an amazing outcome.
Edith and I went to the lake for a swim on Sunday afternoon. On our way back we stopped by the frog pond to see if we could catch a glimpse of a big old bullfrog or something. There were lots of beautiful blue dragon flies but not many frogs. Anyway, I was taking pictures with my phone. Edith kept saying "Don't hang over the edge you're gonna drop your phone". Well I said "yeah I know you're probably right." Wouldn't you know it I see a frog as we are leaving, lean over to take a picture and ploop right into the mucky green film of the the pond. I had just recently upgraded too. :( I instantly spewed out at least 4 vulgar word and quickly prepped myself for putting my hand into the green unknown of the water in hopes of retrieving the thing. I was able to find it pretty quickly considering I couldn't see anything through the green. I popped the battery out. It wasn't my first instinct so I was losing hope of ever using it again. I brought it home, put it in a bag of rice and crossed my fingers. The next day I turned it on. It started up but the screen was all wrong and it wasn't responding to my touch and when the screen timed out I had to hold the power key down to restart it because it wouldn't come back on. I charged it for a while and then put it back in the rice. Each day it continues to mend itself. Today the only trouble I had with it was moisture on the inside of the camera lens. And now that's cleared up too. I am so immensely relieved!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND Lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!
