Oh Oh I forgot. So in protest of the skyrocketing gas prices I have decided only to drive when I really need too. I live close enough to a grocer, a pet supply store, hardware store, liquor store and drug store, oh and consignment shops, that I can walk. So I'm figuring this will either save me lots of money or cost me lots of money. See the local places aren't bargain types. But, But.... If I have to walk I'm less likely to over buy, since a. I have to drag it back, and b. I'm less likely to head to the store on a whim.
Another benefit is the added exercise. So I'll be burning calories instead of gas. Sounds good so far right? I thinks so. Tried it out today actually. Walked to CVS, Donalens, Pet Things and then back to CVS. I spent a total of $2.45 and burned significantly more calories. Woot Woot. We'll see how long this last. I'm sure the hot summer sun that is coming this way in just a few short weeks ;) has the power to deter. But, hopefully it will be more than habit by then and I can keep it up. I'll be sure to keep you posted. Good night.
how's the walking going? do you have a bike? you get there quicker
