The weather has been so nice I can't seem to drag myself inside long enough to blog. So I'm feeling a little behind and I have quite a few new pictures to post so this might be longish.
Going back to last weekend. The Easter/4th birthday weekend. Joe had Friday off from work so we spent the day hanging out in the yard and playing on the swing-set. Edith's friend Oliver stopped by to bring her a birthday present. He gave her a Toot And Puddle Book, which I think is a wonderful gift and so did Edith.
Then Irene and Bill stopped by with Easter and Birthday goodies. Edith got a new Ty friend, named Hercules, who had met Edith once before and decided he wanted to live with her for a while. :D Plus both Edith and Eleanor got some Easter bunny ears and blinking flowers. Irene finds the coolest festive gifts! Then we took them to the barn to visit Troy and Jesse and the two new boarders, who's names I still don't know. There were fresh laid eggs under the stairs.
Edith spent her actual birthday with Daddy. He took her to see 'Hop' and have a special dinner at The Olive Garden.
The following day we went down to RI to visit Gramis and Grampis and have a birthday party. Uncle Chris and Pappa Harry (Gramma Rose couldn't make it due to her work schedule) were there plus Holly and Ryan, so it was a fun party. Edith was quite dapper in her easter/party dress and looked beautiful. Gramis had decorated just for Edith with balloons and Scooby-Doo themed cups, napkins, plates and table cloth.

| Eleanor had on a very lovely Easter dress but it didn't make it to RI because of some pretty severe diaper leakage on the ride down. ewww!! |
 |
| Even Pickles Pug Dog joined in the festivities but donning a party hat. :D |
Birthday was a success.
Tuesday we all went back to the Boston Casting Company for our PSA filming. I'm not sure the director was very impressed with us. We'll see if they edit us out or not. When we will see, I don't know but you'll know when I do. Promise.
Wednesday was a regular day except that I started my Zumba/Pilates class. Welp, being on Prednisone for my poison ivy left me feeling irritated. So I probably could have run a half marathon or something with all of the pent up irritation. So the class was good but I left feeling under worked. I'm going back with an open mind that it was just me being off that made the class feel too easy.
Thursday Edith had a cavity filled. She did soooo good!! Not one complaint or hesitation. Thanks in part to an awesome dentist who is unbelievable at making kids feel at ease!!! Plus of course Edith is a pretty cool kid. ;D
Holly came up for a visit and walked with me to pick Edith up from school. Edith and I love when Holly comes for visits.
Later it was PT with Shawn for Eleanor, another great session and then Joe took Edith out for a Thursday Special Day. He took her to Kimballs for ice cream.
Here is a picture of the neighbor ducks who came over to have a nice little waddle in our puddle/pond. This was taken seconds before Berkley escaped and attacked one of the white ones. He didn't do any visible damage except for a few misplaced feathers. But I was so upset with him! Poor duck! All three ducks made it back to the barn safe, but I doubt they'll ever come visit our ponddle again. eesh.
Here is a silly picture of Edith wearing her Tinker Bell costume from Gramma Rose and Pappa Harry plus the bunny ears from Irene. She a character.
The tulips are blooming and spring is in full swing here in New England. The bullfrogs are already out too. I saw my first one today. Although I saw the BIGGEST tadpole EVER!! Earlier in the week. It was a MONSTER!! I didn't have my camera though so you'll just have to take my word for it. It was HUGE!!
Book Club bookfor this month is Water For Elephants. It was great. Really left me wanting more.
That's it for now. Hope you enjoyed this Day In The Life update.
