We got to use the old canoe this weekend.  It' still floats and everything.  ;D  We went up the Nashua River with Beverly, Abby and Lilly.  It was Edith's first time canoeing and she had a great time.  :D

The tadpoles are growing up.

A few years ago Irene gave me some yellow pansies.  Knowing nothing at all about pansies I asked her if they would come back then next year if I planted them.  Probably not she told me.  But look at this, these are some random pansies growing in my lawn near the site of the original planting.  They amaze me.  I love them.  :D

Eleanor had a graduation ceremony at school today for the kids in her class that are moving up to the next level.  Eleanor has spent her last three school years with the most wonderful teachers and staff at the CASE collaborative's Davis School program.

We will certainly miss the classroom staff there!  Eleanor has learned so much from them and so have I.  Thank You Davis Staff!

Isn't she just so cute pretending to sleep for the picture.  What a ham.  LOL

We found this little guy on our way home from the lake earlier this week.  We helped him cross the road back toward the pond.  I believe he is a Painted Turtle.
I love living here in Littleton Massachusetts!  Especially right by the lake and all of the wonderful conservation areas that are so well maintained here.  We are expecting some very special guests (the Dixon Clan and the BraggBunch)  this year and I am excited to show them all the great things about the place I love to call home!  :D

My Grandfather Floyd Ellsworth Johnson will be 90 years old on Wednesday.  There was a party for him on Saturday.  Here are some photos from the party.
Here's the man of the hour waiting to blow out the candles as we all sang Happy Birthday.

This is Floyd with his four remaining children.

Here are two pictures taken of last weeks conservation walk at Grassy Pond.

It's a lovely walk and I have found a place to secretly pick high bush blueberries.  ;)    There are other pictures from that day that were sent by a fellow walker.  I will post them when I figure out how to format them correctly.
