Time is flying by!! I feel like it's been forever since I've posted.
Lets see, just what have we been up to lately??
Well, Edith continues to have successful playdates with her friend Oliver.
She got her "top bed" all fixed up last weekend including a hand built latter by Joe. :D And princess blanket and pillow. :D
This week is spring break and while it was cold and rainy yesterday we took a trip to the library. Edith was so very excited! We check out two books. The Wolf Who Cried Boy and Make Way For Ducklings. She's so excited about books and the library it's great!
The Wolf Who Cried Boy is a pretty funny story in which you learn about some consequences of lying without anyone getting eaten by anything. LOL
Eleanor has been in a great mood since the end of last week! Smiling and laughing. With the weather being nicer we are spending more time outside. Which means she is getting time in her swing and getting some fresh air.
I have been struggle with a bout of poison ivy. With the weather being so nice and everything well I tried getting some work done in the yard. The fence perimeter was needing a good cleanup so I focused on that last Friday. This is what I came away with.
This is just a portion of what I really have. There is more on my arm and lots on the right side of my torso as well. And this pictures was taken before it got really bad. I had to go to the doctor. He put me on oral and topical corticosteriods. It's getting better now at least. The swelling and the blisters have gone down quite a bit and the weeping has slowed too.
It's going to be a busy weekend for us. It's birthday/Easter weekend- YEAH!! Little e will be 4 on Saturday. WOW! Time really is flying. It also means only one month 'til Big E is 8! Amazing 8!
A sad note- Little Liza ( Mom and Harry's little terrier puppy) got hit by a car on Friday. We visited her in the hospital on Saturday. She seemed to be in good spirits considering her pelvis is crushed and they had to repair her bladder. They expect to do surgery to fix her pelvis when she is strong enough to go under anesthesia. Poor little pup. :(
I aslo meant to say the we got the call back for the Federation's PSA. We will be filming on Tuesday. Oh Yah!! LOL
Stay tuned for more Days In The life... :D

We took Eleanor and Edith to their first circus this past weekend. It was the Piccadilly Circus. There was an elephant. That was pretty much the extent of the excitement as far as the entertainment. We did get to ride the elephant which was weird. And after having recently watched the documentary "The Cove" I felt terribly guilty for having supported the whole wildlife as entertainment issue. Anyway....
When asked what her favorite part of the circus was Edith said "the elephant, the part when the elephant pooped". LOL So there you have it, the show review of an almost 4 year old. Eleanor did so good at the circus. We had to sit her in the stands with us to get better then handicapped seating. We left her wheelchair with all the strollers and carried her to see the elephant and had her sit between us, in her own chair, during the show. She did great!
Edith came home with a large inflatable pink dolphin which she LOVES!
Here is a picture of us riding the elephant.

We went to Boston Casting Company yesterday for our audition. I think things went well. We'll see if we get a call back.
While we were in Boston we decided to take the kids to see the Ducklings. The "Make Way For Ducklings" ducklings. We walked around the Boston Common, where Edith enjoyed some time on the playground, and the Boston Public Garden, where we found the duckilngs. It was a cool but sunny and we enjoyed our time there. Here are some pictures from our day.
Joe got me the best birthday gifts. What was so good about them you ask? They let me know that he's been paying attention and he knows me. :D That was the best birthday gift I could have asked for.

What a wonderful weekend. Saturday Joe and I used a very generous gift certificate we got from our Crazy Lady friends when we tied the knot. The weather was spectacular and the views were even better. The gift was time at the Stage Neck Inn in York Maine.
It was so nice!! Especially at this time of year because it's just the beginning of the season so it was almost like we had the place to ourselves. :D The lobby had a very cozy seating area with a fireplace and a great view of the water.
The dining room was gorgeous and we were seated, what was in my opinion, the best seat in the house.
Joe and I had one of the best dinning experiences we've ever had. We indulged in a full three course meal. The best part for me was the artichoke appetizer I had. It was so delicious I could have eaten it for each course. Joe's favorite part was the prosciutto wrapped salmon.
Besides the wonderful dining experience we got to see some of the most fabulous sites coastal Maine has to offer. We did a seaside hike along the shore next to the Stage Neck and also drove along more northward to the Nubble Light. Here are some of the shots I got.
We also took in some local shopping at the Kittery trading post and stopped at this cool coffee shop where I had my first macchiato, It was caramel and it was delicious!!
A wonderful weekend!!!

| This was so cool. This seagull let you get so close to him and posed quite nicely for pictures! |
| Here is just one of the many pictures of rocks that I took. I love to take pictures of rocks for some reason. |
A wonderful weekend!!!

April First...The fool didn't get me this year. ;) He didn't have a chance though. It snowed last night and today so in protest of that I stayed in. There was a two hour delay for school this morning so I just kept Eleanor home too. We had a lazy bum snow day here, which was kinda nice.
Now aren't you glad you tuned in for that exhilarating news flash! LOL

Here are the pictures I sent.
Edith has been listening to Christmas music the last couple days. LOL! Right now she is listening to Silent Nignt on her iPod and singing. She's cracking me up. LOL
Today she said she needed to pack her orange tiger backpack with 100 pairs of underwear for her sleep over at Oklahoma's house. LOL She wants to go back to visit OK so bad. She had such a good time out there. One day she was talking about Ashley and kept refereeing to her as my sister. I kept trying to tell her "Ashley is my cousin even though she looks like my sister." LOL
We've also had to construct a birthday list for her.
Edith's 4th Birthday Birthday List
-A Princess Candle for her cake- specifically the one we saw at BJ's one day
-Two orange balloons
-Two red balloons
-Scooby Doo toys to include the whole gang and the mystery machine

Plus she wants to have her birthday at Holly's house. I guess I'm going to have to let Holly know. LOL I got on Amazon today and the Gang and The Mystery Machine are on their way.
Oh and speaking of Scooby Doo. Remember the post about Scooby Snack? Well the dentist told us yesterday that Edith has one cavity and 3 on their way. The Scooby Snack are on their way out of our lives. She has deep grooves that like to trap foods especially gummy stuff. But her tartar levels were good. :D
Eleanor on the other hand has massive tartar build up with calcification. The dentist says that's kind of a good thing. In the grooves the tartar acts like a sealant to help prevent cavities but when it sits next to the gum line it can cause gum problems. So it's good in one way and bad in another. At this point Eleanor has great teeth. :D
That's whats new for now. :D
